In 2016 our family founded The String Foundation. We began raising money for families affected by Autism in order to help them financially afford necessary treatments, therapies, and medical expenses. Sadly insurance companies don't reimburse families for certain necessary treatments and, if they do reimburse, they only cover a fraction of the cost. 

Early intervention for children on the Autism spectrum has shown to improve the child's overall development and ability to function.

We personally have experienced firsthand what it is like to navigate the world of Autism as our son was diagnosed at age 5. We have experienced the financial hardships and challenges associated with Autism therapies, treatments and other medical expenses. 

Our hope is to lessen the financial burden that families face while navigating the world of Autism.
